Tavily is a search engine for assistants. Once you connect it, your assistants can search the web, read pages, map or crawl a site, and write a short research report that cites every page it used.

What assistants can do#

Tavily connects through the tool's own hosted connector, and it is read only.

Setup (when it opens)#

  1. Sign in at app.tavily.com.
  2. Create a key on the dashboard. It starts with tvly-.
  3. Open Integrations in StellarFirm and pick Tavily.
  4. Paste the key, switch on the live option, and press Connect.

Permissions#

  • Nothing here waits for an Approve because nothing here changes data.
  • Each call uses your Tavily plan. Crawling a site and research reports use more of it than a search, so ask for a focused task.
  • Revoke the key in Tavily whenever you want to cut access.

Good to know#

  • Every fact from the web comes with the address of the page it came from.
